Bubbles the chimp
Flowers, candles, and notes decorate the area around the Staples Center in Los Angeles as thousands descend to pay their final respects to the King of Pop. But the most popular decoration seems to be stuffed chimps -- as homage to Jackson's so-called "best friend" -- Bubbles.
So -- will Bubbles attend the memorial?
Apparently not. NBC's Matt Lauer reported that Bubbles will not be among those at the Staples Center. "Someone actually called the center of Great Apes Sactuary in Florida and offered to fly Bubbles to L.A.," Lauer reported.
The director of the center reportedly "politely declined."
