Valentines day, and my birthday

If you haven't already sorted out your gifts, food, etc., for Valentine's day, here are a few last minute tips.

Gulfview Square Mall have a Publix stand today.  They have baked goods, flowers, and other items for the love of your life.  No need to rush to a supermarket.

Vendors are everywhere today, selling flowers, and baskets. We saw two lots of people on S.R.54.

Go to one of the local fruit stands and pick up some gorgeous strawberries.  We went to one on U.S.19 and got the most amazing, fresh, ripe, strawberry.  There were 27 large ones for just $2.  These are locally grown.

Go to the Dollar Tree on S.R. 54 and pick up Valentine's day balloons for just $1.  We purchased several, as well as birthday ones.  Yes, I am a Valentine's day baby.  Also they have so many items at $1, so your sweetie will be delighted with all the gifts you purchase.

Have a wonderful Valentine's day.  We are off to a dinner and dance.  I have made a huge trifle for 30 people, with fresh strawberries on the top.  The photographs will be coming up in the next week.
