Two weeks ago I was driving along State Road 54 in New Port Richey, and stopped off at a Dollar Tree, at the intersection of 54 and Rowen.  I noted the name of a cafe next to it and also Alan's New York Bar-B-Que on the corner of the plaza.

Today I was running errands and decided to stop and check out Alan's New York Bar-B-Que.  I just fancied a pulled pork bar-b-que sandwich.  As I drove past it and into the parking lot there was a 'For Lease' sign in the window.  This was so upsetting because I am now finding restaurants closed on a weekly basis.

Upon my return home I found the telephone number for the restaurant and tried it.  I got this number has either been disconnected or is no longer in service.

Therefore, I am hoping to save others from driving to the restaurant, only to find it closed.  Lucky for us we have a Pit Boss Bar-B-Que on Little Road, so I will be planning a trip there shortly.
