Restaurants are closing all around us and this is really sad for me, having owned my own.

Today I was walking Gulf View Square Mall and looked at the space where Buffalo Wild Wings used to be.  A couple of days ago I was at a local pool supplies shop and saw that the Half Shell Restaurant on Ridge Road was no longer there.

Driving along Main Street I came to the intersection with Congress, and in that fairly new plaza, there was no sign of business at Buck's Pizza .

I know times are hard for everyone right now, but if you are planning to eat, try to find a restaurant close to home.  We need to keep as many of these businesses open, to provide our food, and jobs for the community.

I was given this card a few days ago and thought it to be appropriate:

The best way to

a women's heart

is through

the door of a

Restaurant.

Let's try and keep as many open as possible.
