Coca-Cola Bottle and Baseball Glove in the left field
bleachers at AT&T Park.

In an era where visiting ballparks has become a common vacation theme, it’s always nice to come home with priceless souvenirs.  My favorite souvenir is none other than the simple picture with the field in the background.  However, if you are looking for more than the usual photo opportunity in the outfield of AT&T Park in San Francisco, I have a few suggestions.

On the concourse level of the ballpark, not only are you able to walk a complete circle around the park, you’re also able to come across three perfect picture spots.

1.  Right Field Arcade Seats
Behind the Arcade seats in right field resides a view seen in many postcards. Walk along the brick outfield wall and you will find an unobstructed bay view.  With the Bay Bridge in the background, this spot is perfect for the city and bay view.  Face the bay and your backdrop will be the nicely-groomed field of the San Francisco Giants. Although the field is a common background, this angle isn’t as plain.

2.  Right Center Field Cable Car
Walk from the Arcade seats, toward the center field bleachers and you will run into an authentic cable car.  You can ring the bell, hang off the side of the car, or just relax in one of the seats.  This spot is another perfect mix of San Francisco and baseball. Just like the right field Arcade seats, this spot also allows you to get a good angle of the field.

3.  Coke Bottle and Baseball Glove

Continue from center field to the infamous left field of AT&T Park and you will be right below the giant Coca-Cola Bottle and Baseball Glove.  Climb up a few steps and you’ll be able to capture the two landmarks behind you. Due to the size of these attractions, you may not be able to get them entirely in your picture. Again, this spot is another perfect location where you can take picture of or with the field.

A trip to AT&T Park is not complete without these sights in your photo collection. When visiting, be sure to stroll around on the concourse level, take lots of pictures, and don’t forget your jacket! San Francisco is beautiful, but can be chilly.

Oh, and remember.  Say “Cheese!”
