Vontae Davis declares for NFL draft

Vontae's made it official. Today, the junior ended speculation and declared for the NFL draft. Davis is considered one of the top cornerback prospects in the 2009 NFL draft, and is listed as a first round selection on most mock draft boards.
In other Illini football news, co-defensive coordinator Curt Mallory is one of the finalists for the Miami (Ohio) head coaching position.
