If you missed other rib festivals this summer, be sure to check out the Windy City Ribs Festival. This inaugural event offers a rib cook-off by eight local and some not-so-local vendors.
In addition to area favorites like Robinson's Ribs and Old Town's Fireplace Inn, "ribbers" from as far away as Minnesota, Wisconsin and Texas sauce 'em up.
There are also a variety of vendors and live music. Saturday's music headliner is Cowboy Mouth.
