While the famed Taste of Chicago offers a plethora of food options, one typically has to stand in line for tickets and then stand in line for an over-priced turkey leg or cob of corn on a stick. Rarely do you find a really great food bargain.
This year, however, is the 29th year of Eli’s Cheesecake being Chicago's #1 Dessert at Taste. So they are sharing in the celebration with free -- yes, FREE -- slices of cake from their giant 2000-pound cheesecake.
Head over to Buckingham Fountain to join in singing Happy Birthday to Eli's and the Taste of Chicago and see the surprise celebrity cake cutters on Saturday, June 27 at 1 p.m.
