Attention Orange County residents! You can get two free trees next Saturday at Tibet-Butler Preserve on State Road 535. Just bring proof of residency and two native saplings will be provided.

Tree species include live oaks, bald cypress, magnolias, and red maples. A 15-minute demonstration of how to care for the trees will be provided and is required to take your new greenery home with you.

The tree giveaway is part of the Streetscape program, which offers free native trees around Orange County on a monthly basis.

For more information, including future dates for tree giveaways, check out the Streetscape program website.
