Pearl Highlands Center is located on Kamehameha Highway, directly across from Home Depot. This 400,000 square feet center is the sixth largest in the State and, the food court serves residents and employees in Pearl City and leeward Oahu. It’s a place to go before or after catching a movie at 12-plex Regal Cinemas, shopping at Sam’s Club, Ross Dress for Less or any of the 21 stores and services located here.
There are 8 vendors in the bright, clean and air-conditioned food court. All of the meal options are very reasonably priced.
Blimpie Subs & Salads: As with all of the Blimpie locations, you’ll find 6” and 12” subs or wraps with chips, salads and soup of the day. This is a great place for healthy meal options.
Dairy Queen / Orange Julius: This is a small Dairy Queen / Orange Julius location so you won’t find the full menu of options here but there are Hot Dogs with a variety of toppings, cones, sundaes, fruit smoothies, Orange Julius and more.
Highland Inn: There are Korean barbeque favorites including Kal Bi and BBQ Chicken, plus Meat Jun, Shrimp Tempura, Mochiko Chicken and more. They offer a wide selection of kim chee and vegetables to chose from and have combos and mini-plate options. Local favorite are the Shrimp Tempura Combos - three pieces of Shrimp Tempura with Barbeque Chicken, Meat Jun, Kalbi, or Mochiko Chicken.
L&G Local Foods: A take-off on the popular L&L Hawaiian BBQ restaurants, L&G offers regular and mini-plate lunches (Teri-Beef, Chicken Katsu, Sweet Sour Spare Ribs, BBQ Mixed Plate, etc.) which come with rice and macaroni salad, hamburgers and other sandwiches, french fries and more.
Ming’s Canton Food: Specializing in Cantonese food, you can choose from a variety of soup/noodle options (Char Siu Won Ton Mein, Roast Duck Won Ton Mein, etc.) as well as their one, two or three-choice (Pork with Long Beans, Spare Ribs, Beef and Broccoli, Sweet and Sour Pork, Minute Chicken, etc) plate lunches that come with chow mein, fried rice or chow fun. They also offer daily specials.
Sumo Ramen and Curry: You’ll find a wide selection of Ramen, Udon, Soba options and Curry plate lunches – including combo plates that come with gyoza or fried rice. There are pictures of most of their menu offerings so you can order according to the photo. The Miso Ramen combo – with fried rice and 4 pieces of gyoza is very filling.
SushiMan: The made-to-order sushi menu includes popular hand-rolls (California roll, Spicy Tuna roll, Ebi Shrimp roll, etc.), Nigiri Bentos, Maki Mono, Spam musubi, Shrimp Tempura Udon, Kakke Udon and various sushi party platters. They also offer Bubble drinks in a variety of flavors.
Thai Mixed Plate: You can order one, two and three-choice plate lunches which include rice. They offer a variety of spicy or mild dishes including green papaya salad. Thai food lovers enjoy delicious curries such as Evil Jungle Curry – their most popular curry dish made with a red curry and coconut milk sauce with chicken and cabbage. The Food Court is located in the center of the Pearl Highlands complex. There are public restrooms and ATM Bank Machines. This is a very clean food court – workers are always wiping tables and straightening chairs throughout the business day.
Open daily, hours for each vendor differ slightly. Basically, they are open by 10:30 am or earlier and close between 8 – 10 pm Monday – Saturday and between 5 – 7:30 on Sunday.
