Before hitting the trail, there are a couple of things to be sure to bring. First aid kit, sunscreen/bug spray, water, snacks—just to name a few. But some days, clothing is optional.

Sunday marks the Summer Solstice, the first day of summer, but also Naked Hiking Day.

Although the tradition is not condoned by authorities, there are many outdoor enthusiasts around the country, and in New Hampshire, who brave the insects and thorns to bond with nature wearing only their boots.
