Rihanna has been spotted and photoed all across the East and West coasts looking like a model that just stepped out of Vogue; but soon we can expect to see more of the singer when she releases her new album.

Rumor has it, Rihanna is set to release a new single off of her new album later on this year. Reportedly, in October Rihanna will release the first official single off of the album. This of course is great news and a high point in the singers tumultuous year; and will allow fans and spectators to turn their attentions away from her personal life and focus more on her career.

But speaking of her personal life, Rihanna's mother has been pretty vocal on her daughter's love life speaking on the love her daughter still has for Chris Brown.

In a recent interview with gossip magazine Star Magazine; Rihanna's mother, Monica Fenty, spoke candidly about her daughter's infatuation with Chris Brown saying that Rihanna is still in love with Chris despite what he did to her.

I'm devastated, but what can I do? We love her but can't stand to see her play Russian roulette with her life. Chris has a bizarre power over her. She still loves him and he knows it. In her eyes, he's a god. Even after what he did, it's not diminished. - Via Contact Music.

It is never a plus when a celeb' s family turns to a tabloid to spill the beans on the happenings in their lives. As for Chris, the singer is scheduled to appear in a Los Angeles courtroom today to face sentencing for his actions in February that left Rihanna bruised and battered. The rumor regarding Chris appearing on Larry King Live is still alive; however, it has not yet been confirmed.
