Before and after Chris Brown's highly publicized court date that left him with 5 years probation and no jail time, music by him has been released on the Internet and has had some people questioning his motive. Yesterday for example, there was a new track that hit the net titled "Not My Fault" that had a few insiders speculating on the timing and the content in the song.
Then there was last week, when there was new music released titled "Smash". The title spoke volumes and cause a few heads to shake. Turns out, Chris has not released any music off of his album; this of course is not too hard to believe. Upon listening, anyone that is familiar with the structure of music could tell that the songs seem incomplete.
Well, Chris' label Jive/Zomba have taken it upon themselves to set the record straight by revealing that all of the new music that has been labeled as "New" music from Chris is false. They are simply old demos circulating around being falsely promoted.
Countering misleading reports of 'new' Chris Brown music: there are no 'new' songs from Chris Brown currently being promoted by Chris or his record label. There are several old demos circulating that are being falsely promoted as new material from Chris. -via Jive/Zomba Label
Chris is currently at work on his new album Graffiti. Notable acts that are adding their personal touches to the album will be hit producer/songwriter Ryan Leslie and singer/songwriter Keri Hilson.
