This is turning out to be Rihanna's worst year to date. On Friday, photo's that are presumed to be Rihanna, hit the Internet showing the "Umbrella" singer posing nude in front of a mirror using a camera phone to capture the image.
There were seven photo's in total which also included a photo in what appears to be of ex-beau Chris Brown seated on a bed wearing pink panties on his head.
Numerous websites posted the pictures but were later forced to remove them when Rihanna's label, Island Def Jam, sent out letters demanding that the photo's be removed. Def Jam failed to confirm if whether the pictures were of Rihanna or not.
Earlier in the year, Rihanna made headlines with Chris Brown after the two had to cancel an appearance at the 2009 Grammy Awards because of a physical altercation the couple had been involved in with one another the morning of the event.
Rihanna isn't alone in the full on exposé of nude young singers. Earlier last week, Bad Boy Records artist (and rumored girlfriend of Diddy) Cassie made headlines when photo's of her hit the Internet with her posing topless.
It just seems like the whole nude pic thing is getting a little out of hand. Whether they are being done at the request of the artists themselves or if someone is violating their trust, it is tainting their image, unless of course they are interested in doing Playboy. There have been people saying that this is wrong because these artists are seen as role models to younger kids, have they seen their concerts? Rihanna appears on stage with short revealing attire gyrating and pumping when she performs, lets not get ahead of ourselves.
