It has been confirmed that Usher’s new album has been pushed back.

Usher has been hard at work on releasing his new album Raymond vs. Raymond. To date, the singer has leaked a few tracks one of which being the lead single “Papers” – a song that was rumored to be about his failed marriage to ex-wife Tameka Foster.

According to a press release, Usher’s album Raymond vs. Raymond will not be released on December 8 as planned. Instead, Raymond vs. Raymond will be released in early 2010. There was no reason given as to why the album was pushed back.

Had Usher’s Raymond vs. Raymond been released on the planned date, it would have gone head-to-head with Chris Brown’s album Graffiti which is set to be released on December 8.
