For those looking for a bit more adventure in their camping trips this summer check out the Space Rock Mountain Melt Music Festival coming up on August 29th in Zigzag, Oregon. Located in Zigzag at the Skyway Bar & Grill this music fest features bands like the Lucid Sound, Mars Retrieval Unit, Jesta, Sungods of Cascadia, The Mercury Tree, Trick Sensei, Morning Teleportation and Hippinshlog.

This psychedelic music festival promises excellent vibes, music, staff, food and drinks. Performances will run on an outdoor stage from noon – 2 a.m. and is to be followed with free camping and drum circles only three miles from the venue.

Cost for the show with camping included is $15. Though this event may sound a little far out, it’s location is incredible as it is on Mt. Hood, just south of Mt. Hood National Forest on Highway 26. Daytime activities abound inside the National Forest with fishing, hiking, boating and camping.
