Do you remember Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough's jive from week 2? That quick-moving dance showed Krupa's weakness: stamina. The quickstep wasn't any kinder, but during the Latin round, she was able to recover for a score of 29.

Dancing the quickstep to "Valerie" by Amy Winehouse, Krupa and Hough had a few missteps, her arms and legs didn't hit full extension and the routine was a big jerky.
Carrie Ann Inaba commented that with the longer routines, it was easier to see problems. Inaba pointed out that Krupa was out of sync in some sections and at times, forgot to point her toes.
Len Goodman thought there as a lot of running about and the routine lacked body contact. In the quickstep, the couple should be very, very close.
Bruno Tonioli quipped, Krupa looked like she was "running away from the scene of the crime" and it was "not one of your best performances."
Krupa and Hough received 8, 7, 8 for 23.
During the Latin round, Hough was charged with making a futuristic paso doble. Hough used a lot of angular, sharp movements and their costumes were silver with lights. The song was "Living on Video" by Trans-X.
Tonioli called the routine a "masterful reinvention of a classic."
Inaba thought it was an "outstanding execution of the theme" and told Krupa she didn't miss a step.
Goodman praised Hough saying that he didn't know what Hough was going to do, but called it "genius."
Mya and Dmitry Chaplin: 59
Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough: 52
Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel: 51
Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff: 50
Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson: 50
Krupa and Hough finished second, far behind Mya and Dmitry Chaplin. The question becomes who is more popular? Do Krupa and Hough have the fan base to survive? They are just one point ahead of Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel and two points ahead of Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson.
