Friday:

Saving up energy for the weekend...

Saturday:

Baltimore Herb Festival  from 10am -3pm at Leaking Park. No not that herb, it's the one you eat. Oh never mind.

For the truly masochistic there is the Dreaded Druid Hills 10k at 7:30am  From the organizers website, "Most memorable quote so far: I love running hills, but that was mean and totally uncalled for. - Finisher in the chute, 2002"

After all that working out, relax at the Caribbean Wine Fest at Linganore Cellars.  going on Saturday and Sunday at the winery. Food wine, and music. Read my column this week on Wine in the Woods to know how I feel about these events.

Sunday:

MCVET 5k run at 10am

Monday:

Eat at what ever Barbecue your friends, family or neighbors are throwing. If they are not, make a Barbecue yourself and find friends, family and/or neighbors to invite.

What am I doing?
Barbecuing, in fact going to two of them.

Lastly, I humbly request that you stop and spend a moment of your time in silence at 3pm on Monday for those who have given their lives for the United States of America. They have earned it.

If you have any other events this weekend, feel free to post them in the comments section. If you have any future events you want people to know about, e-mail me at baltrecreation@gmail.com
