Now, you're probably thinking that I wrote up a list of things I want my significant other to be able to do and shared it here. You know, clean the bathroom, wash the dishes, fold the laundry... Well, I didn't. Instead, this is a book written and published by 28 different people: men and women. Yes, men took part in writing a book on informing other men how to do something. Interesting, right? And it's not something silly like folding laundry, it's more like telling a man how to fight a bear or grow a beard.
These people are all part of a website called WEBook which is a publishing company, but also a community for writers of poems, stories, essays, and even illustrations. "WEbook is a revolutionary online book publishing company, which does for the industry what American Idol did for music," claims WEBook. If you ask me, that quote is right on tact!
The way WEBook works is people write something and post it on WEBook site. They can get feedback from other members of the community and they can even make projects open, where all members can add something to it. That is what the book 101 Things Every Man Should Know How to Do was -- an open project. Then, once the project has gained all the entries a member thinks is necessary, they can put it in the voting cycle. What that means is that every member votes on which book they think should be published. Then, WEBook staff takes a look at the votes and publishes the book most voted for. It's quite easy what goes on and it can be a lot of fun.

Just remember, this book wasn't put out to be rude to others or anything of the sort, all members who participated in this book were looking to add a little humor to one's everyday life.
