This Saturday, November 14, from 12 PM - 7 PM at the Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club in Hendersonville, there will be the first annual "Christmas at the Club." This event was started by four local Hendersonville businesswomen -- Dalette Rankhorn, Melissa Carter, Shelia Woodall, and Karen Mills.

This event was initiated by these women because they wanted to show their talent and what their businesses do for the community. Therefore, they applied to be part of the annual Christmas Village that takes place in Nashville; however, the event was full.

"That didn't stop us. We decided to start our own Christmas Village. Build it and they will come." -- Mrs. Rankhorn

The women then approached the general manager of Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club, Paul Belcher, and he agreed to have the event at the club.

"We are thrilled to help the local women-owned businesses... With excellent service and fine dining, as well as a central location for Hendersonville, what could be a better location than Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club?" -- Mrs. Woodall

According to Ms. Carter, the event will have over 20 gift-giving vendors that specialize in handmade jewelry, Christmas ornaments, skincare and wellness, holiday cakes, sunglasses, candles, baby items, kitchen designs, and more. They will also have the local plastic surgeon, Dr. Lois Wagstrom, there to help with things.

This event is free and open to the public, so don't miss out! If you're a member of the Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club, you can get an exclusive first look starting at 10 AM - 12 PM.
