Cheap, last-minute Christmas gifts

So we're nearing the most beloved holiday known as Christmas and many people not only enjoy the meaning of Christmas, but give and receive gifts. However, since we're so close to December 25th, we're kind of running out of time to get those gifts at the store, huh? Therefore, here is list of things you can get or make at a cheap rate in little time.

Most gifts that are last-minute should still be from the heart (as all gifts should be) and be easy. Don't you agree? Therefore, homemade gifts are always a great idea. For example, you could bake cookies or brownies for someone. (That way your secret ingredient could be love for the person receiving the gift!) You could also make your own candy for someone. For example, chocolate lollipops with Christmas decorations.

However, if you don't have that much time on your hands, you could make a gift basket with store-bought candy or baked goods and extra little things. Gift baskets are the perfect gifts because they're quick and contain multiple goodies.

Another creative gift you could make for someone or multiple people are ornaments.  You can buy them singularly or in packs and buy glitter, confetti, paint, etc. and decorate the outside and inside if the ornament is clear. This is a good gift because it shows you spent your time on something for this person.

However, there is also the quick and easy gift known as a gift card or gift certificate. You can get it to a certain store or restaurant or you can buy a Visa gift card that a person can use wherever they want. You could also put this in the gift basket if you plan on giving that to someone.

How about a Book of Love? This could be a book containing pictures of you and your significant other and have scriptures detailing your love. This may sound cheesy, but believe me -- it would be well worth it because it shows you spent your time on something important.

Another idea could be some of type of artwork, such as a drawing or painting. You don't have to be the artistic type to do this either. Abstract is definitely a great piece of work today. Your significant other might like this because it shows you took your time again to create something for them.

You could also create an elegant evening for this person. Whether it be on Christmas or another day, it's still something romantic. You can make a menu of their favorite things; include their favorite foods/drink, a photo, and/or a song or poem expressing your love all in a basket or box. (A good gift basket idea.)
