Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood

Tonight will be one of country music’s biggest nights of the year – the CMA Awards will be taking place. Of course, this takes place every year, but it only takes place one night a year and each year it’s a big event. Would you like to go?

I decided I won't be going because of lack of money, therefore I'll be watching the awards from my couch. You can hear their thank you’s better. In case you’re going to stay home too, be sure to tune in to the abc channel at 8/7c PM.

The awards ceremony will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood for the first time. Just some of the nominees are Sugarland, Taylor Swift, and George Strait. Some of the performers will be Kevin Costner and Modern West, Darius Rucker, and Julianne Hough.

I like to see what the stars are wearing a lot of the time, so I think I’ll be tuning in to the 2008 CMA Awards Red Carpet Show too at 7/6c PM on CMT hosted by Lance Smith and Katie Cook. These two will be giving “a VIP experience with the hottest ticket in Music City.” We’ll get to see the stars as they arrive! Plus, it’s only an hour long, so it’s not like we’ll be missing anything on abc. Right after that the awards ceremony will start on abc. As long as we can switch the channels fast enough, I’m sure we’ll be fine.

If you go, or have gone, did you get to take some good pictures? Want to share them? Let me know!
