A note from a good friend....

Chris has been home for approx. 72 hours… in that time he left the freezer door open (prior to the weekend).  I never saw it as it was just cracked open a bit. This was the large freezer I used to freeze pies.  The carefully cut up and wrapped meat I had stored, unthawed, and was not smelling too good by the time I discovered it on Tuesday.

I decided that he was old enough to clean up the mess he created and gave him a plastic tool to knock off the loose ice and throw it away in the process of cleaning the mess.

He decided that was going to slowly and took a hammer and broke one of the Freon pipes winding its innocent way through the freezer rack……the repair man called it a “castrophic accident” and hung up on me.  Does that mean it is broken?  I will be throwing away another freezer just one year later after I destroyed the other freezer.

Summertime fun and he dosen’t return to school until September?
