Mardi Gras Madness at the Farmer's Market

Any and all in the city of Los Angeles can party like a NOLA native at the 20th annual Mardi Gras extravaganza at the Farmer’s Market. Lasting four days, one major highlight, (and affirmation that Angelinos not only love their dogs, but really love to coif, coddle, pamper and then preen their babies), is the Mutti Gras Pet Parade that happens at 12pm on Saturday, February 21st in the Plaza. Prizes will be awarded to best-dressed King canines and Queen pooches in three categories:

  • Small – For dogs weighing 20 lbs or less
  • Medium – For dogs between 20lbs and 40lbs
  • Large – For Dogs that are north of 40 lbs, (and not afraid to strut it!)

The rest of the activities aren’t too shabby either. Face painting, live zydeco and beignet munching are all part and parcel of the celebration. Here is how the itinerary shapes up:
