The 16th Annual Turkey-Free and Healthy Harvest Thanksgiving Dinner Potluck will be held Sunday, November 22 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Lake Harriet United Methodist Church located at 4901 Chowen Avenue South in Minneapolis.
Everyone is welcome. You don’t have to be vegan or vegetarian to attend. The event is co-sponsored by EarthSave Twin Cities, the Animal Rights Coalition, and Alliance for Sustainability. The event is not affiliated with the church.
The event is a potluck. Attendees are asked to bring a vegan main dish, side dish or dessert to share with others. (Vegan means no meat, dairy, eggs, gelatin, honey or refined sugar.) Bring a serving utensil, a copy of the recipe/ingredients to set by your dish, and your own place setting to help reduce waste/trash.
EarthSave holds vegan potlucks monthly around a discussion topic. It’s a friendly group of positive people and a great way to try new foods/recipes or be introduced to the vegan/vegetarian lifestyle.
