We have over 200 Central Florida writers signed up to take part in Nanowrimo starting November 1.  Have you signed up?  Nanowrimo is National Novel Writing Month, a world-wide event that takes place each November where writers join together to support each other in their novel writing efforts.  Each writer begins a new novel on November 1 and strives to write 50,000 words by November 30.  That's 1667 words a day.  Support and encouragement is available online and in write-ins around town.

Keep in mind, the goal isn't to write, edit and polish your novel in a month. Just to get 50,000 words of a rough draft down.  No one reads your work (unless you force them to) and there is no need to share the actual work, spelling errors and all, to participate in the program.

Interested?  Check out www.nanowrimo.org

Or come visit us Sunday, November 1, at the Whole Foods shopping center on Sandlake Road.  We'll be hosting a kick off party starting at 1pm.  Bring a laptop and we'll get you started on your Nanowrimo adventure.
