Today, at the Web 2.0 Summit, Bing announced a partnership with social media giants,Twitter and Facebook, to display their hot topics in real time.
http://www.bing.com/twitter will have real-time public tweets showing at the top of the page. For example, one of today's hot topics is Paranormal Activity and search results for this topic show up below the area outlined in green in the screenshot.
The Facebook deal, which will access all information shared publicly on the social network, will arrive "at a later date," said senior vice president Yusuf Mehdi.
