So you want to take it easy this Friday night and decide to head to the movies. You drop nine bucks on a ticket, four bucks on a box of candy… if you add up how much you’ve spent at the movies over the past year, it’ll probably be a small fortune.

Join the Regal Crown Club, brought to you by Regal Entertainment Group, and you can earn free movies, popcorn, soft drinks and even movie tickets.

Here’s how it works: you get one credit for each dollar spent on ticket purchases at the box office (maximum of 12 credits per day; yes, there’s always a catch). You earn two extra credits for concession stand purchases and four extra credits if you buy whatever they’re promoting that day (i.e. a candy combo). You start getting rewards for every 40 credits you earn.

Oh, but you don’t have to wait for 40 credits to start taking advantage of this great card. Head on over to the theater for $1 featured candy on Mondays and free popcorn on Tuesdays.

Here’s the current Rewards Schedule:

40 credits: one free small popcorn
80 credits: one free small soft drink
Bonus: one free small popcorn every Tuesday with paid admission

Once you reach 120 credits, you’re considered “Star Status” (feel special, don’t you?) and the rewards continue…

120: one free movie ticket
160: one free small popcorn
200: one free soft drink
240: one free movie ticket
280: one free small popcorn

Seeing the pattern? Once you hit Star Status you can participate in Extra Credit Thursdays (get five extra credits at the box office) and Concession Bonus credits.

So what are you waiting for? Head over to RegalCinemas.com and click on “Crown Club.” And here’s a list of Regal theaters in Florida.
