New releases for 10-14-09
It’s Tuesday, which means some of you are recovering from your Columbus Day Bash. The New World rules! Wahoooooo! Not many people know this, but Columbus actually had the foresight to know that even though the Post Office was going to get “his day” off, he still wanted new comics to come out on Wednesday. That is exactly what is happening. Thanks, Chris. Here are this week’s highlights.
Dark Horse has a special one-shot with Star Wars: Invasion #0.
Image Comics is releasing The Walking Dead #66. Apparently, nothing will ever be the same again. That is a promise you can always take to the bank in regards to comics.
Marvel has Incredible Hercules #136 and Deadpool #900. No, Deadpool hasn’t been around that long. I think if you take all his appearances then subtract X-Men Origins: Wolverine, I believe you get 900, but I could be wrong. Going by that logic, Wolverine #100,987 should be hitting stores soon. Also, I've been pushing Daredevil lately. If you want to read the lead-up to the current storyline then be sure to pick-up the Daredevil: Return of the King. It collects the last five issues of Ed Brubaker's run.
DC Comics has the final part of the Batman tie-in to Blackest Night with Blackest Night: Batman #3. Supergirl and her Kryptonian buddies try to clear their names in Action #882, and Superboy continues to try and work his way back in to the DCU in Adventure Comics #3.
As always, let me know what you will or will not be picking up this fine Post-Columbus Day week.
