If the works of Stephen Sondheim are the $500 beluga caviar service of musical theater, then Pump Boys and Dinettes is $1.99 chicken fried steak and buttered grits.  And in its current incarnation Drury Lane Oak Brook, P B & D is as irresistible as a home-cooked blue plate special to a long-haul trucker who hasn’t eaten in 1,500 miles.
