Education professionals can learn about the latest technologies for student success in the classroom by attending the 16th Annual Education Technology Conference: Campus Technology 2009 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center on July 27-30, 2009. The spotlight this year is “Mastering Digital Worlds,” which will showcase innovations to keep schools focused on effective strategies and tools for learning.

Campus Technology 2009

Who should attend the Campus Technology 2009 Conference? Educators, deans, distance learning faculty, technology directors, or any educational professional interested in seeing new technologies in use and learn more about how to create an effective learning environment for students will benefit.

The conference will review best practices for teaching in the digital age by revealing how educators are using emerging technologies in the classroom. Teachers can network with others and gain valuable real-experience information. Workshops will provide guidance on how to integrate the various technologies in the traditional and distance learning classrooms.

Last year, 861 higher education technology professionals from 48 states and 18 countries attended the conference. Over 100 companies sponsored 124 booths. Four hundred and sixty-four higher education institutions were represented.

Corporate sponsors for this year’s convention include Dell, eCollege (A Pearson Company), Hobsons, Mediasite, BlackBerry, and SMART Technologies. These and other information technology vendors will be on hand to show their latest and most successful products. IT managers and decision-makers can see these new products and will have the opportunity to chat with company representatives.

Education professionals can register online for Campus Technology 2009. Registration packages including conference and hotel packages are available, as well as group discounts. Early bird registration closes June 26.

Without a doubt, the Campus Technology 2009 Conference will be a great opportunity for innovators and implementers to get together to discuss which technologies work in the classroom and ultimately lead to student success.
