Registration is now open for spring 2010 classes at John Tyler Community College. JTCC serves the Richmond, VA area with campuses in Midlothian, VA, and Chester, VA. Complete an online application now through December 22, 2009 and get a head start on your success. Or, stop in at either campus for a tour and apply in person. JTCC offers lots of options to students through a wide variety of courses through both distance learning and campus classes.

Perhaps you are considering attending a community college and transferring later. JTCC makes it easy to transfer credits to four-year institutions, such as the University of Richmond, the College of William and Mary, the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, and others. Over 12,500 students attended during the 2008-2009 school year making JTCC the fifth largest community college in Virginia. The average class size is 19 students, which makes for great individual learning experiences and interaction with the instructor.

JTCC is a great bargain: tuition and fees for a full year average $2,634 compared to similar undergraduate courses at the average four-year Virginia college with tuition and fees of $7,582. Many students get a good start at Virginia's community colleges like JTCC and save money at the same time. Classes are scheduled so that just about everyone can take a class. The college offers weeknights, week days, weekends, and even virtual classes.

Consider taking a distance learning class at John Tyler Community College. The Spring 2010 Course Schedule is ready for view here. Choose VIRTUAL to see all the courses available online.
