Was Daisy Mae on fertility drugs? The American Bulldog from Illinois gave birth to 21 puppies six weeks ago, reports local Fox2Now News. Four of the puppies didn't make it, but 17 wriggling puppies is still a lot, says dog owner Shari Ballard.
It took Daisy Mae 20 hours to deliver all her pups. The father of the litter is a bulldog named Groucho. While news reports stated the puppies were "adopted," is it more likely they were sold?
