A white Great Dane named Titan from San Diego, Calif. has been named the World's Tallest Dog by Guinness World Records. The 4 year-old Great Dane's official height is "a hair over 3 1/2 feet tall from floor to shoulder," reports the Associated Press. Another eight inches could be added if you include Titan's head, Guinness spokesman Stuart Claxton told the AP. Titan weighs 190 pounds.
Originally a rescue dog adopted from Petfinder.org, his owner Diana Taylor told the Associated Press that Titan "is blind, deaf, epileptic and undergoes acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments every three weeks."
"Titan is magical," Taylor told the Associated Press. "He's low-key, calm and has a wonderful demeanor about him. He gets along with all dogs, even the tiny ones." Titan has his own website at Titan & Friends.
