After yet another vicious bite -- this time to Jacques Chirac's stomach -- the former French president was forced to give away his Maltese-Bichon mix dog, Sumo.

According to the Telegraph, Sumo was lying at Mrs. Chirac's feet when he suddenly jumped up and bit the 76 year-old former French president in the stomach.

"I was very scared because there was blood. It's terrible, the small teeth like that. He was going wild. He wanted to jump up and bite again," Mrs. Chirac told the Telegraph.

Sumo was sent to live on a farm, where he is reportedly happy. Previously, in January of this year, Sumo bit Mr. Chirac so viciously that he was sent to the hospital. Mrs. Chirac was quoted at the time saying that Sumo was "depressed" and prone to vicious, unprovoked attacks on Mr. Chirac.
