Barney with George W. Bush, his BFF.

Oops, he did it before. Another victim has come forward since it was reported in recent weeks that Barney, the current White House First Dog, bit Reuters reporter, Jon Decker.

Back in September, Barney bloodied the wrist of Heather Walker, public relations director for the Boston Celtics when she tried to pet him. It happened after a ceremony at the White House celebrating the basketball team's 17th NBA championship.

Ms. Walker, who kept the incident a secret until it was reported Friday by her hometown newspaper, characterized the incident as "strange." "I couldn't believe the president's dog bit me!" Ms. Walker told the Salem News.

Hmmm. Maybe Barney's more of a San Antonio Spurs fan. Question is, who else is going to come forward as one of Barney's victims? Dick Cheney? Or may Condoleezza Rice?

Perhaps a visit from Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer is in order. You know what Cesar says: "Your dog is a mirror reflecting back to you your issues."

Barney's victim, Karen Walker, who is public
relations director for the Boston Celtics.

There's even enough time to film it at the White House before the Bushes move out. We can picture Cesar driving up to the south entrance in his Jeep, as we hear Cesar's voiceover: "I rehabilitate dogs and train people. I am the Dog Whisperer." [Cue music.]

Scene 1:

[Cesar sits on a couch opposite George and Laura Bush, as Barney stares balefully at the former illegal immigrant turned television star.]

Cesar: So, how can I help you guys?

George: Well, it seems Barney here has gotten himself into a little trouble.

Cesar: What's the problem?

Laura: Barney bites people. It's horribly embarrassing.

George: Oh, c'mon now, it's not that bad. He only nips at them. He doesn't mean any harm.

Cesar: Mr. George, I can't help you if you don't acknowledge the problem.

Laura: Exactly. [Turning to her husband.] Honey, we have to admit he has a problem. That's the first step. Don't you remember from the twelve steps?

George: [Clearing his throat] Well, now, we don't have to drudge all that up. Let's listen to what my amigo has to say.

Cesar: [Staring intently at the Bushes.] Dogs are pack animals. You need to show them that you're the pack leader.

George: Well, I have so much responsibility as it is--do you see all this gray hair I have now? I didn't have it eight years ago. I just want to relax and have fun with Barney. He's my pal.

Cesar: I see this is going to take more than one session. Why don't I come back tomorrow and we'll start working with Barney. [Gives Laura a hug, and shakes George's hand.]

Barney: [Muttering under his breath.] Thought he'd never leave. [Turning to George] Daddy W., I didn't like him. Let's get that other lady in here--the one who talks with a funny accent and uses treats.

Laura: You mean Victoria Stillwell, from It's Me or the Dog? Oh, I just adore her. She has the loveliest hair and cheekbones. I could never get away with those bangs.

George: That's a great idea, Barney. She drives a cool car, too. I'll get right on it.
