Candy for toys at Learning Express

On the first day of every November, I sit around the Halloween buckets and take an inventory.  I add all of the candy that we didn't hand out with the sweets my children collected on their various trick or treating excursions.  The sum total is roughly around the lines of 'way more candy than we could eat in our lifetime'.  This year is no exception.

So what will I do with all of that left over candy?  Take it to Learning Express of Wesley Chapel located at The Shops at Wiregrass, of course!  From today through Tuesday, November 3rd, Learning Express will give customers $1 in Toy Bucks for every pound of candy they bring in (up to 5 lbs.)  The Toy Bucks can be used in the store to buy games, toys, books and more.  Learning Express will donate the candy they collect to a worthy cause.

If you have more than 5 lbs of left over candy, consider bringing it to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul located at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church where the candy is donated to people and children in need.
