During this semester, I am again teaching CIT 11200, Introduction to Information Technology, offered by the Computer and Information Technology program at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis.
Although I do not intend to use social media for teaching and learning as "aggressively" as I did in a more advanced course last semester, this semester's course will exhibit some Web 2.0 and social media features such as podcasts of lectures and social bookmarks.
You can follow along at a Netvibes site that I have created for anyone so inclined. It is generally "powered" by RSS feeds of the aforementioned features without requiring access to the course management system used by the students who are actually enrolled in the course. The syllabus is also available at the course if you would like to know more about the course.
As the semester progresses, I also hope to maintain a blog of my experiences while teaching the course. That blog will also be at the Netvibes site. Feel free to add your comments to my blog postings.
