Mtv"s hit "Runs House" is a reality show which features Rap legend Rev Run, his wife Justine Simmons and their six children Vanessa, JoJo, Angela, Diggy, Russy, and their adorable new baby Miley.
Rev Run originally known to us all as one third of the legendary rap trio "Run DMC" has achieved fame and success on all levels possible. The latest is "Runs House" a show with purpose that clearly wants to teach viewers that family love and moral values tops it all. Although everything can seem perfect in reality TV this is not always the case in real life.
Eldest son Joseph Simmons Jr. was arrested last night for possession of marijuana. As originally reported by TMZ the 19-year old was seen allegedly buying the marijuana and rolling a joint while sitting in a car on Manhattan's Upper West Side. We're told he tried to get away by throwing his car into reverse, and nearly backed into the officer's car. Joseph Simmons Jr. was also booked for resisting arrest, attempted reckless endangerment, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Now the good news. JoJo it seems is to be surrounded and loved by strong male figures in his life who will hopefully guide him in the right direction. Viewers have come to rely on inspirational messages relayed by Rev Run at the end of every episode of "Runs House" so JoJo listen up!
