Last minute meal ideas using turkey meatballs

October 19, 6:03 PM

Turkey Meatballs
Got home late from work and want an easy meal that's quick to prepare? Keep some frozen precooked turkey meatballs in your freezer and you'll always have some quick and easy dinner options.

If you cook the meatballs with tomato sauce, you can serve them with spaghetti noodles for a quick and filling spaghetti dinner. You can also put the meatballs with tomato sauce on a sub roll with a slice of mozzarella and warm it up in the oven or microwave. Another idea is to cook the meatballs with onions, green peppers, and red peppers.

If you aren't in the mood for Italian food, add the meatballs to prepared barbecue sauce and serve with a side of coleslaw. If you're craving Mexican food, cook them with salsa and serve them in taco shells or flour tortillas with lettuce, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. You could even stir-fry the meatballs with soy sauce and mixed vegetables for an easy Asian-inspired dish. Turkey meatballs would even be great for breakfast as a side with eggs and toast or chopped and cooked inside a quiche.
