It's already been a terrible month for controversial celebrity deaths. David Carradine and Michael Jackson have already died under strange circumstances, and now Billy Mays, the spokesman to the stars, can be added to the list.
Mays, known for his ads for Orange Glo, OxyClean, and many other "miracle" products, was found dead this morning in his Tampa, FL home.
It is not yet known what caused Mays' death, however, on his way home from a commercial shoot in Philidelphia last night, Mays hit is head on the ceiling of the plane he was flying on during landing. He came off the plane saying he "has a hard head."
Mays' last tweet read "Just had a close call landing in Tampa. The tires blew out upon landing. Stuck in the plane on the runway. You can always count on US Air." According to TMZ, Laura Brown, spokesperson for the FAA, originally stated that Mays wasn't wearing a seatbelt during landing. She later recanted this statement, saying that there was no way of knowing who wore their seatbelt.
