NBC has announced its starting line-up for the 2009-2010 prime time TV season.

Sundays will continue the tradition of weekend pigskin under the lights with another year of Sunday Night Football.  This year, Al Michaels will share the booth with Cris Collinsworth, who will take over the color commentary spot once held by the retiring John Madden.

Starting on Monday, September 14 will be the premiere of The Jay Leno Show, a new one hour prime time talk show.  This new lightweight show will air each weeknight at 10pm, filling the time slot that once was home to hit dramas such as ER.  Also returning will be another season of the hit drama Heroes.

Tuesdays will be home to The Biggest Loser, which will feature for the first time in several years a return to non-couples competition.  One cast member, Amanda, was voted onto the show by public vote.

Wednesdays will feature the return of Law and Order: SVU along with the premiere of a new version of the series Parenthood.  Originally based on the Steve Martin film from 20 years ago, the new series will feature the all-star lineup of Craig T. Nelson, Erika Christensen, Peter Krause, Bonnie Bedelia, Mae Whitman, Dax Shepard, and possibly Monica Potter.

Thursday nights have quickly resumed their position of being NBC's flagship night of television comedy.  The Office will return for a new season, along with Parks and Recreation and the limited run series Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday.  A new show, Community will premiere at 9:30pm.  This show about returning to college will feature Joel McHale (The Soup) and screen veteran Chevy Chase as an older college student who has been married five times.

Friday nights will feature the returns of the long-running crime series Law and Order and second season police drama Southland.

Saturday nights will feature the once prevalent Dateline NBC.  Of course, don't forget to stay up late for the 35th season of Saturday Night Live!  Seth Meyers will return as the show's head writer and host of Weekend Update.

For those of you who are wondering where 30 Rock is?  No fear!  It will return in the lineup with their season premiere on October 15th.
