WJZ has become the third Baltimore station to broadcast their daily local news programming in high-definition.

Joining the ranks of many local news organizations throughout the country, WJZ will now utilize their digital signal to its maximum capacity in bringing Eyewitness News in HD.

WBFF was the first Baltimore station to broadcast its original programming in HD in June of 2008, followed by WBAL in January of 2009.  This leaves WMAR as the only local station yet to complete the upgrade.
