Yesterday's regularly scheduled Tuesday maintenance come with some additional downtime for many servers, some of which were not back up until the early evening EST.
Apparently, the instability and login problems have not yet been corrected, as last night's update on the login screen referred to "a hardware reconfiguration maintenance for" a great number of US realm
While they expect to have those realms back online by 9am PDT, don't be surprised if it's closer to noon before the servers are live and ready for action.
