And now, the conclusion of our countdown of the Greatest Thanksgiving Movies Ever.

#1  Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Steve Martin just wants to get home to his family for Thanksgiving, but the weather (and the universe) just isn't cooperating.  He ends up traveling with John Candy, a shower-ring salesman, and for thousands of miles, they attempt to not strangle each other while they brave skeezy roadside motels and various crazies they meet along their journey.

This movie isn't just a holiday classic, it's an 80's classic.  Check out the clip below, for one of the film's best-known scenes.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
