Reclusive graffiti artist Banksy is holding his first-ever New York show, in a teeny-tiny storefront.
Giant rat murals have been popping up around the city, along with the requisite faux-sightings of the secretive cult artist. The show is being held at 89 Seventh Avenue South, between West 4th and Bleecker, now through October 31st. It's only open from 10 a.m. to noon, and the space only holds 20 people, so plan on a wait.
Banksy's website offers info on the New York show, and directs viewers to the "Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill," offering dates/locations as well as some wild and disturbing videos.
Given the way that fanatics obsess over Banksy, we're guessing that the show will be attended by every art geek and hipster in New York. Except for Banksy himself, of course.
