Petra Strand, world-renowned makeup artist and creator of Pixi Cosmetics at Target, offers these incredible easy, tips on how to achieve a summer glow.

Face: The perfect summer skin is about a sheer veil of colour that truly brings your complexion to life. Illuminating Tint & Conceal is the perfect summer "must," it makes the skin look healthy and ultimately glowing with a beautiful radiant complexion. The base is oil-free and is your daily moisturiser with SPF 20 and so many other skin treating goodies like botanicals, vitamins & minerals. It makes your skin look airbrushed with its tint and nifty full coverage concealer in the lid - perfect summer skin!

Lips: This is my ultimate summer pout - I love to use the super long lasting Pixi Lip Blush in Purity. It gives a fawn brown tint to the lips that lasts a minimum of 8 hours. Then I add a cheeky slick of Lip Booster in #1 Maxi Clear for a golden flecked, sexy and juicy, moisturising gloss effect.

Cheeks: Sun-kissed Pixi Cheek Gel is perfect - it’s a water based transparent bronze gel that gives a delicate warm colour to the apples of the cheeks. It contains aloe vera which leaves skin with a matte finish long lasting stain.

Eyes: The mercury is rising and you just want a beautiful fuss free glisten! I use the Pixi’s lustrous Brightening Primer like a crème eye colour over the lids and then line with Pixi Gel Liner in one of the sexy shades like Onyx or Jade. Finish off with coats of mascara - this is so long lasting and so easy - I love it!
