Beth modeling for Dr. Sketchy's Anti Art School

Dr. Sketchy's Anti Art School was back again on Sept 29th at the Beachland! The beautiful Beth was sporting big feathers and flapper gear for all the art monkeys. Now that's class! Beth showed us that the Dr. Sketchy drawing club can be sexy, while retaining an element of sophistication.

As usual, the brilliant Dr. Aaron and Dr. Jason run the show. They mediate the event establishing lengths of time for each pose. The night starts off with quick sketches a few minutes long to get the juices flowing. Then the night progresses to a couple ten minute poses. Nearing the end of the night, pleasantly buzzed from all the beer, the artists draw from one long pose. It's always exciting to see the finished product.

The beer doth flow at any Dr. Sketchy event

Peppered in thru the night are a few creative drawing exercises. Tonight, each artist was asked to draw a line through the center of the page. They are instructed to quickly draw half the model along the line for two minutes. Then, swap with your neighbor, continuing to draw the second half.

After each exercise, the drawings are placed on center stage for everyone to compare. Then winners are picked for any number of prizes.

It's a fun, no pressure environment and artists of all skill levels are invited to join in. The only stipulation is you must be 21 or older as all events are held in a bar. Hot cha cha!
