The libraries aren't the only places to go this spring for free activities. Ukazoo Books in Towson has several events going on during May.

 

Monday, May 18 at 6:30 pm is the next meeting of their Creative Writing Group. Call 410-832-BOOK to register in advance, or email ukawriters@gmail.com

Every Wednesday morning at 10:30 is Children's Story Hour with Miss Laura. Come enjoy a story, songs and a snack.

Every Friday evening from 7-9 pm, come for Game Night.  Backgammon, checkers, chess and other games---or bring your own.

Open Mic Night for playwrights, poets and musicians:


First is UKAZOO FORUM: held the first Thursday of every month. This month, Forum will be held on May 7 from 7 to 8:30 pm

Next is MOANING PIPE CABARET: held the third Tuesday of every month. This month’s Cabaret is May 19, 6:30-8:30 pm

Our open mic nights are open to playwrights, poets, authors, and musicians who are invited to share their poems, songs, and readings with the audience.
