Judith Pittman is the owner and manager of the website, and she handles the ongoing contests and drawings at the site.  Visit here to see how to enter to win an "eBookwise" e-book reader. Judith took a few moments of her time to answer these questions.

1. What inspires you to work on promo for authors? What keeps you going?

J: The wonderful stories written by authors who are published by small press publishers.  These authors are so talented, and it's such a shame that the majority of the books we hear about are those published by deep pocket publishers who control most of what is widely available in the marketplace. Books We Love works with over 100 authors all of whom are published by small press publishers and responsible for their own promotion expenses.  I love making a difference that way.

 
 
2. What are your future plans for the group/site?

J: We've recently started into blogging and networking on Facebook and of course we offer great contests all the time, right now we're giving away an eBookwise eBook reader, and every quarter we give away something really nice, and of course we're always giving away lots and lots of books.

 
3. If you could list 3 things that drive you nuts working with the site or authors, what would they be?

J: Authors who email me and say "my covers are on my publisher's site you can go get them there" By the time I locate and copy and save the covers and copy the url links I could be finished with pages for three other authors who have been considerate enough to send everything in an email.

Contestants who enter our contests and forget to leave their email addresses -- how in the world can I find them.

And lastly, when Homestead, our website host, gets overloaded with new clients they've taken on and can't provide the kind of smooth access I need to quickly work on and upload pages.>
 
 

4. What do you like to write and read?
 
J: I write mysteries, and that's what I love to read.  I'm a fanatical Rex Stout fan and own every one of Stout's Nero Wolfe books.
